What Our Client’s Say About Us...
This is an exceptional book that offers new and future moms a lifeline . This book empowers women to prioritize their well being without having to feel the societal pressures. Mom shaming is very real , and the author did an amazing job covering this very important topic. I found a great deal of kindness and empathy from the author all while adding humour to her real life journey . I appreciate the pieces that she chose to share with the world . I recommend this book.
With Instagram and other social media, moms post the beautiful moments of being a mom, this book discusses the good, the bad and the ugly moments. With the right mixture of practical information and personal experience, the author talks about motherhood without judgement and parenting styles without mom shaming their choices. This book is a wonderful acknowledgment to all mothers, whether biological, step, foster, adoptive, etc. and an eye opener to all who know them. Inciteful, humorous and honest! Worth the read!
As a mother, I find that some days I barely keep my head above water- and in the age of social media and ‘perfect’ families, it can feel quite isolating. This book provides a great counter-narrative that is affirming and refreshing, with realizing that being a mom can be challenging for anyone. I love that the humour and direct honesty provides an avenue for connection. Solidarity!
